Description

The Penelope Smoothie Pearl bridle is made of supple cowhide for absolute comfort. 

Careful, original and trendy, we love this V-shaped browband decorated with multicoloured pearls that draw ethnic patterns.

Designed for daily riding at the stables as well as for your competition outings, the Penelope Smoothie Pearl Bridle retains all the strengths of the Penelope Smoothie Bridle:

  • a quality cowhide, supple and robust.
  • wave-shaped browband and wide noseband, lined and padded
  • barley grain hooks on the uprights and reins for discretion and a refined style.

Ultra comfortable for the horse, the Penelope Smoothie Pearl Bridle has :

  • Anatomical, lined and padded headpiece, which frees the base of the ears and distributes the pressure on the horse's neck thanks to its widened central part.
  • a nice wave-shaped browband that hugs the horse's head, releases the temporal muscles and offers maximum comfort thanks to a very soft leather padded lining.
  • a combined noseband, particularly wide, padded and lined with very soft leather, which allows a good adjustment while limiting the pressure on the muzzle
  • a wide buckle which facilitates adjustments and daily handling.
  • Bridle uprights lined with elastic at the bit attachment to soften the contact between the bit and the horse's mouth and ensure maximum comfort.

The Penelope Smoothie Pearl Bridle is sold with rubber reins for a good grip.

The noseband attachment is fully removable for added style when the noseband is not needed.

Size guide

The only difference between a pony and a horse is size.
According to the International Equestrian Federation, an equine measuring less than 1.48 meters, not shod, is considered a pony. If it measures more than 1.48 meters, it is classified as a horse.
The pony category is divided into 4 sub-categories based on their height at the withers, not shod.
Category A = height less than 1.07 meters
Category B = height between 1.08 and 1.30 meters
Category C = height between 1.31 and 1.40 meters
Category D = height between 1.41 and 1.48 meters
