Description

Pre-knotted polypropylene rope halter features 2 stainless steel rings on noseband to tie reins.

Sold with 3 m overall length removable reins with swivel trigger snaps in chromed zinc.

Caution: an ethological halter works by pressure points: the knots rest on innervated areas of the horse's head and the section behind the ears is thin. It can become painful or dangerous if misused.

Size guide

The only difference between a pony and a horse is size.
According to the International Equestrian Federation, an equine measuring less than 1.48 meters, not shod, is considered a pony. If it measures more than 1.48 meters, it is classified as a horse.
The pony category is divided into 4 sub-categories based on their height at the withers, not shod.
Category A = height less than 1.07 meters
Category B = height between 1.08 and 1.30 meters
Category C = height between 1.31 and 1.40 meters
Category D = height between 1.41 and 1.48 meters
