A true asset for your pony's well-being, the Greenguard® Therapeutic Grazing Muzzle for Shetland is designed to limit your pony's grass intake, helping to prevent health issues related to excessive consumption of rich grass.
Ensuring comfort, this anti-laminitis muzzle allows your pony to breathe properly and drink easily from a water trough.

Flexible and comfortable, it minimizes irritations and provides optimal comfort for your Shetland pony.
Specifically designed to fit the Greenguard® Therapeutic Grazing Muzzle for Shetland, the Greenguard® Halter, sold separately, offers a complete solution.
This model is specifically adapted to Shetland size, but the Greenguard® Therapeutic Grazing Muzzle is also available in sizes for larger ponies and horses.
This anti-laminitis muzzle is the ideal accessory to ensure your pony's health and comfort while offering a durable and practical solution.

Usage tips
Positioning the muzzle:
The Greenguard logo should face you. There should be 3 slots facing you.
Attaching the 4 straps:
On a Greenguard Halter:
Attach the front strap to the halter ring.
Attach the bottom strap to the noseband (not to the ring).
Attach the 2 side straps so that the strap/noseband angle is a right angle.
On a regular halter:
Attach the front strap by passing it around the noseband (tighten with a piece of tape).
Attach the bottom strap to the noseband (not to the ring).
Attach the 2 side straps so that the strap/noseband angle is a right angle.
Adjusting the straps:
Adjust the straps to ensure there is a 3 cm gap between the mouth and the bottom of the muzzle (1.5 cm for Shetland muzzles). The muzzle should be free to move independently of the halter.
Adjusting the angle:
Adjust the straps so that the mouth and the bottom of the muzzle are parallel.
Choosing the right muzzle size:
If you are unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one to ensure better comfort for your pony. Note that the Shetland muzzle is small. For ponies measuring less than one meter at the withers but with a thick nose, choose the larger size. Similarly, the double pony muzzle size is small. For ponies measuring more than 1.45 meters at the withers, choose the horse size.
Composition
Semi-flexible plastic.
