Description

Made of stainless steel with copper rollers and a high, sliding tongue relief, the Metalab Copper Roller Pelham Bit allows for better control of strong and powerful horses.

By acting on the palate, its high and sliding tongue relief helps close the angle between the head and neck, thereby enforcing neck flexion.

This action enhances the lowering effect of the Metalab Copper Roller Pelham Bit.

The combination of rollers and copper encourages the horse to play with the bit and salivate, thus promoting relaxation of the horse's mouth.

The leverage effect of the Metalab Copper Roller Pelham Bit can vary depending on the rein attachment point. This bit can be used with 1, 2 pairs of reins, or Pelham converters.

Adjusting the curb chain can vary the severity of the bit.

The curb chain should be laid flat, in contact, and allow a 45° angle between the shanks and the axis of the mouth.

The use of a curb chain guard is recommended to protect the sensitive bone of the lower jaw.
